Candidates wishing to be admitted into the B.Sc. Chemistry programme in the Department must satisfy one of the following:
- Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) (Entry at 100 level)
I) Candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE/GCE O/Level or equivalent examination in not more than two (2) sitting is required. This include credit in mathematics, English, Chemistry and physics, biology.
II) Candidate must have passed the UTME with a score not below the annual national minimum cut-off point prescribed by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
- Direct Entry (DE) Candidates (Entry at 200 Level)
- Candidates must have passed the GCE ‘A’ level/ NCE/IJMB or its equivalent in Chemistry and any one (1) of physics, Mathematic or biology with a points score not below a minimum score prescribed annually by the University senate; and O level credit passes in Chemistry, Mathematics and English, physics, Biology.
